The Bio-Tech Development Kit is a comprehensive package designed to introduce users to the
world of biotechnology applications through hands-on learning and project development. This
kit includes everything you need to get started with building embedded systems that can
detect food quality, monitor spoilage, and even communicate data via Bluetooth for advanced
analysis. Key applications that can be built with this kit include Food Quality & Spoilage
Detection, Food Moisture Content Checking, Food Odour Testing, and Food Categorization.
Additionally, the kit allows for the integration of Bluetooth-based Data Communication,
enabling real-time data sharing for machine learning and AI applications. The Bio-Tech Kit
is powered by an Arduino Uno compatible Rev 3, along with a USB cable, making it easy to
start programming and experimenting right away. It also includes the HC-05 Bluetooth Module
for wireless communication, and a variety of sensors to monitor environmental and
food-related factors. The TCS3200 Color Sensor helps with food categorization by analyzing
color variations, while the Moisture Sensor is essential for checking the moisture content
in food. For odour detection, the MQ-3 Smell Sensor is included, making it ideal for
applications such as spoilage detection. A DC Blowing Fan is also part of the kit, allowing
for airflow control to help with experiments and real-time data collection.
