The Water-Sanitation Development Kit is a comprehensive learning package designed to help
you build and develop embedded systems for water quality monitoring and sanitation
applications. This kit provides all the necessary hardware, code, and guides to create
projects that monitor water temperature, detect water purity, manage automated water
dispensing, and check pH values. It offers the easiest way to learn and develop solutions
for essential water and sanitation concerns, with applications that are key for
environmental monitoring, water treatment, and quality assessment.
The kit is powered by an Arduino Uno compatible Rev 3 board and comes with a USB cable for
easy programming and project setup. It includes a variety of sensors for detecting various
water parameters, such as the DS18B20 Temperature Sensor for monitoring water temperature,
and the pH Probe with pH Amplifier Module for measuring water acidity or alkalinity. The
Infra-Red Sensor helps detect the presence of objects in automated systems, while the
Solenoid Valve allows for the controlled dispensing of water, making it ideal for systems
that require automated operation based on sensor data.
